Considerations

At Bamboo Montessori we recognize the importance of early child care and the critical time for your child to develop,

therefore we are looking for parents who can partner with us in these wonderful years.

We only offer a five full day program. Our hours are Monday through Friday: Drop off is from 8:30 to 8:45 am. Pick up time is from 3:45 to 4:00 pm.

1. We give preference to children who will be 2.5 to 3 years old by September, as the Montessori Preschool Program is a three year program, ages three to six.
2. We provide healthy snacks. Children bring lunch from home.
3. Being punctual and consistent is critical for your child to be successful in our program. Habitual impunctuality is cause for termination of service.
4. We reserve the right to discontinue care for a child if we suspect the child has a special need, sensory disorder process or any situation that requires the child to have one on one, with an adult permanently.
5. We only accept children who participate in the immunization program.
6. Attending Parent Education Nights (three a year) and Parent Teacher conferences (twice a year) is a requirement. Failing to attend will jeopardize your child’s place for next year.
7. We expect the parents who enroll their children to stay for the three years of the program. The third year is the critical year to cement the expressive language and to finish the Montessori Program.
8. We are a year round preschool program. That means we do not offer summer the option of summers off. Our summer programs are 6 weeks, July to August.
9. The school is a mandatory reporter (child abuse and neglect).
10. We do teach about God and Jesus Christ, (Christmas, Easter etc); however we are not a biblical curriculum (A for Abraham, B for Bible or teach any specific verses) we follow the Good Shepherd Montessori Program.
